SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN - March 31, 2008 - Robert J. Gordon, a partner in the Southfield office of Michigan-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., has been appointed to the American Arbitration Association's (AAA) Panel of Neutrals. Jaffe CEO Richard Zussman made the announcement. The AAA provides services to individuals and organizations that wish to resolve conflicts out of court through arbitration or mediation in a fair and impartial manner. Composed of more than 7,000 members throughout the world, the AAA's National Panel of Neutrals posses years of industry-specific knowledge and experience. Mr. Gordon concentrates his practice in the areas of business law and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, representing and counseling public and private business entities on all aspects of formation, governance and operations, general contract, e-commerce, securities filings and succession planning. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and is a cum laude graduate of the Boston University School of Law, where he served as a staff member and projects editor for the Boston University Law Review. A member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan, he serves as President of Temple Israel and a National Commissioner for the Anti-Defamation League. He also serves on the Michigan Advisory Committee for the United States Civil Rights Commission. |
